| Day 1 Sat. HONOLULU.
Aloha and welcome to Hawaii! Upon arrival at Honolulu
International Airport, you will be greeted with a fresh flower
lei and transferred to your hotel in Waikiki. Your Tour Director
will be on hand to assist with check-in. |
| Day 2 Sun. HONOLULU. PEARL
HARBOR AND CITY TOUR. Enjoy a continental breakfast and
reception with your Tour Director. Afterward your sightseeing
excursion features the sunken USS ARIZONA and its impressive
memorial to the men still entombed there, Punchbowl National
Cemetery, and Honolulu Lookout. Other sights include bustling
Chinatown, Iolani Palace, and Kamehameha’s Statue. The afternoon
is free for independent activities. Tonight join the optional
sunset dinner cruise along the shores of Waikiki. (CB) |
| Day 3 Mon. HONOLULU. A
full day at leisure. Your Tour Director will have suggestions
including activities near world-famous Waikiki Beach, or a
full-day optional outing to the Polynesian Cultural Center on
the island’s north shore where you’ll enjoy a dinner buffet and
the colorful stage show “Horizons.” |
| Day 4 Tue. HONOLULU.
One last day to enjoy Waikiki, the world’s most famous beach.

| Day 5 Wed. HONOLULU-MAUI.
A midmorning transfer to the Honolulu airport for the short
flight to Maui, the “Valley Island.” On arrival, sightseeing
begins with a visit to the lush greenery of the IAO VALLEY. Then
to the former whaling center of Lahaina. Free time to explore
this colorful town with its giant banyan tree spreading across
the town park. Then head to your hotel with the balance of the
day at leisure. |
| Day 6 Thu. MAUI. A
full day at leisure to enjoy Maui’s balmy climate. Your Tour
Director will describe optional outings that take you along the
Road to Hana, a spectacular drive with 54 bridges and countless
waterfalls, or to the Maui Ocean Center, a state-of-the-art
aquarium and marine park that showcases indigenous marine life.

| Day 7 Fri. MAUI. VISIT TO
HALEAKALA NATIONAL PARK. The morning is dedicated to
HALEAKALA NATIONAL PARK, a long-dormant volcano. Marvel at the
contrasts, from a landscape of cinder cones to dense rain
forest. Rare proteas, flowers with impossibly giant blossoms,
are cultivated on the rich volcanic soils. Return to your hotel
in the early afternoon with plenty of time for you to enjoy its
amenities. Tonight attend a LUAU and experience Polynesian
music, dancing and a traditional Hawaiian feast. (D) |
Day 8 Sat. MAUI. The
trip ends today in Maui. Transfer to the airport in Kahului for
your homebound flight.
