GRAND NEW ENGLAND TOUR 7 Days, Oct 3-9, 2010 Sunday 10/3 Departure about 7:00 AM, as we head for the Adirondacks and our first night Dinner is included. Overnight accommodations are at Lake George, NY. (D) Monday 10/4 Continental Breakfast at our hotel. Travel the scenic roadway north through the mountains of Vermont. We will visit a number of attractions, including The Vermont Marble Museum and the University of Vermont Morgan Horse Farm, before arriving in Burlington for a sunset dinner cruise on the elegant Ethan Allen cruise ship on Lake Champlain Accommodations are in Burlington. Wednesday 10/6 After breakfast at the hotel, we will follow the
spectacular Kancamagus Thursday 10/7 After breakfast at our hotel we will tour Portland, with a visit to the famous Portland Head Lighthouse, followed by a lunch stop and tour of Kennebunkport. This evening we will enjoy a Lobster Bake Dinner at Gloucester, Massachusetts. (If you don’t like lobster, the alternate choice is baked chicken.) Accommodations tonight are in suburban Boston. (CB,D) Friday 10/8 This morning we will tour the historic, and yet modern, city of Boston. Lunch and souvenir shopping is always interesting at lively Quincy Market with its 50 shops, 14 full service restaurants, 40 food stalls. Tonight we will visit the Mohegan Sun Casino for dinner and free time for gaming, shopping, or seeing a show. Accommodations are in Mystic, CT.
