Sunday 10/3 Departure about 7:00 AM, as we head for the Adirondacks and our first night   Dinner is included.  Overnight accommodations are at  Lake George, NY.  (D)

Monday 10/4 Continental Breakfast at our hotel. Travel the scenic roadway north through the mountains of Vermont. We will visit a number of attractions, including The Vermont Marble Museum and the University of Vermont Morgan Horse Farm, before arriving in Burlington for a sunset dinner cruise on the elegant Ethan Allen cruise ship on Lake Champlain  Accommodations are in Burlington. Tuesday 10/5 Breakfast at our hotel is followed by a tour of the Stowe area with our local guide. We will visit Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory, a local cider mill, and other attractions as time permits. From Stowe, it is a  very scenic ride to the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Our next stop is at Franconia Notch where you will ride the 80-person tram to the 4000 foot top of Cannon Mountain. Dinner will be served aboard the Hobo Railway and accommodations are at Lincoln, New Hampshire, in the White Mountains. (CB, D)

Wednesday 10/6 After breakfast at the hotel, we will follow the spectacular  Kancamagus Highway, making frequent stops to enjoy the vistas and explore some trails as we make our way to Maine.  Other highlights today will be a visit to the L.L.Bean store in Freeport and dinner in the historic tavern where Maine became a state. Our hotel tonight is  in Freeport. (CB,D)

Thursday 10/7 After breakfast at our hotel we will tour Portland, with a visit to the famous Portland Head Lighthouse, followed by a lunch stop and tour of Kennebunkport. This evening we will enjoy a Lobster Bake Dinner at Gloucester, Massachusetts. (If you don’t like lobster, the alternate choice is baked chicken.) Accommodations tonight are in suburban Boston. Friday 10/8 This morning we will tour the historic, and yet modern, city of Boston. Lunch and souvenir shopping is always interesting at lively Quincy Market with its 50 shops, 14 full service restaurants, 40 food stalls. Tonight we will visit the Mohegan Sun Casino for dinner and free time for gaming, shopping, or seeing a show. Accommodations are in Mystic, CT. (CB,D)

Saturday 10/9 This morning we will visit historic Mystic Seaport where you can board three major sailing ships and tour the seaport village shops and houses before leaving for home.  Arrival times will about 11:00 PM (CB)
