Join our Civil War historian for a walk in the heart of OLD GETTYSBURG. The evening walking tour will introduce you to an incredible story: a quiet town suddenly surrounded by 160,000 American soldiers. You will walk streets where Confederate Soldiers pursued Union Soldiers in the fighting retreat to Cemetery Hill on July 1, 1863. Visit and dine at the DOBBIN HOUSE. Explore the SCHRIVER HOUSE where guides in period dress explain the life-styles and furnishings of the area. Stops at the AMERICAN CIVIL WAR MUSEUM and the GETTYSBURG DIORAMA are a must. Plus, en route home, we will make at stop at BOYD’S BEAR COUNTRY, home to cute bears and other collectables.
