SUNDAY: An early afternoon arrival in Dearborn presents
a choice of attractions. With a rich and diverse offering of exhibits,
demonstrations, programs and reenactments, The HENRY FORD MUSEUM
celebrates yesterday’s traditions as well as today’s innovations. The
Museum houses one of the largest collections of its kind ever assembled,
the museum showcases the people and ideas that have fired our
imaginations and changed our lives. Or you may choose GREENFIELD
VILLAGE, which is spread over more than 90-acres, and comes alive
with the unforgettable sights, sounds and settings of America’s past.

MONDAY: This morning we travel north to MACKINAW CITY.
This leisurely ride will take us near FLINT, SAGINAW and a stop in
GAYLORD. Here you will have lunch and learn about the making of beer at
a MICROBREWERY. Our next stop will be at Mackinaw City where we will
take a FERRY RIDE TO MACKINAC ISLAND. The remainder of the day is free
to explore the island. An optional dinner can be added at the
Grand Hotel. (B, L)
TUESDAY: Today we board a horse drawn carriage for a
narrated tour of the island. We will visit ARCH ROCK, SURREY HILL, THE
GOVERNOR’S MANSION and FORT MACKINAW. This afternoon we will depart for
SAULT SAINT MARIE. here we will ride through the largest waterway
traffic system in the world, the SOO LOCKS. This entertaining dinner
cruise will feature a narration as we travel through the locks. You will
be alongside ocean vessels as you rise twenty-one feet straight up. (B,

WEDNESDAY: We begin today with a
visit to PETOSKEY. Located on the western coast of Michigan the
area is characterized by rolling hills, wooded terrain and inland lakes,
including a 38-mile inland waterway. We will STOP AT A CASTLE for a
narrated tour and lunch. Traveling further down the coast we enter
TRAVERSE CITY for glimpse and a taste of the Cherry Industry. This
evening we will arrive and overnight in Bavarian styled
Frankenmuth. (B,L,D)
THURSDAY: We will have a guided tour of the charming
city of FRANKENMUTH and time to purchase any Christmas decoration you
can imagine at BRONNER’S CHRISTMAS WONDERLAND.

This
five-course dinner features a menu renowned for its range and
excellence. After dinner, guests are welcome in the Parlor for nightly
demitasse and music performed by The Grand hotel Orchestra.
Evening Attire: Eveningwear is required in all areas of the
