You will have free time in the quaint town of Lynchburg. This evening is the General Jackson Dinner and Show featuring a patriotic journey through America’s music as we cruise the Cumberland River. Exploring the music of country legends like Hank Williams, Patsy Cline and other icons of the Grand Ole Opry along with the hits of the 90’s from Garth Brooks, Reba McIntyre and Dolly Parton. And finally, we’ll enjoy the blockbuster hits of country music today through the music of Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts. This American musical journey includes a delicious prime rib dinner and a three-hour cruise.

DAY 3: After breakfast we travel to downtown Nashville. There’s time to explore on your own before we tour the Country Music Hall of Fame. The museum presents the crown jewels of its vast collection to illustrate country music’s story as told through the turns of two centuries. A treasure trove of historic country video clips and recorded music, dynamic exhibits and state-of-of the-art design, live performances and public programs, museum store, live satellite radio broadcasts, on-site dining and fabulous public spaces. The Ryman is next, known as the Mother Church of Country Music, built in 1892 as a church and for more than 30 years was the home of the Grand Ole Opry. Musicians ranging from Roy Acuff to James Brown and Patsy Cline to Sheryl Crow have performed on the Ryman sage, making it a historical as well as current day live performance mecca. Explore the history and musical treasures of the Ryman Auditorium. Next we go to the famous Wildhorse Saloon for a home-style barbecue buffet (lunch) and a free line dancing lesson. This evening we will tour the Grand Ole Opry Museum before being treated to The Opry. After the show, we will have a backstage tour of the Grand Ole Opry House and you will have a rare glimpse of what happens behind the scenes of the world’s most famous country music show.

DAY 4: Enjoy a full breakfast before traveling to the Hermitage Plantation. Andrew Jackson always welcomed visitors to his home. Since The Hermitage opened as a museum in 1889 and over 15 million people have crossed its threshold. You will now become part of that tradition.
