DAY 1:Depart and travel to Albany NY. Dinner included this evening. (D)


DAY 2: After a full breakfast and hotel check out, it is off to Hemmings Car Lover’s Oasis.
Step back in time at this vintage auto collection surrounded by a huge automobilia collection.
There is also an old fashioned Sunoco Station and Café. Then stop in the 1946 New England
Country Store. It’s like shopping in a museum with fascinating merchandise and New England
antiques. Then we will travel Vermont’s Scenic Route 100. It is one of America’s most scenic
routes as voted by the American Travel Magazine. We will visit a true New England village
nestled in the mountains, Woodstock Village.  Take time for lunch on own, browsing the shops
and a walk through the covered bridge. Next we will travel on vintage coaches aboard the
White River Flyer Railroad, offering panoramic views of the White Mountain Foothills past a
wildlife sanctuary and scenic causeway. We will stop for a photo-op at “Vermont’s Little
Grand Canyon,” Quechee Gorge. Dinner is included after check in at our Vermont hotel. (B,D)

DAY 3: After breakfast and hotel check out, we are off to the Winnipesaukee Scenic
Railroad. Here you will board your train for a ride along one of New Hampshire’s largest lakes
in vintage coaches on historic tracks of the Boston and Maine Railroad. Then we will enjoy
Lake Winnipesaukee on a wonderful two and a half hour cruise, including lunch. We will stop in
Freeport, home of the original L.L. Bean and many quality outlet stores. There will be time for
dinner on your own. Then off to our hotel in Maine. (B, L)

DAY 4: After breakfast we are off to the Maine Lobster Festival on the beautiful Rockland
Harbor. Activities include a kick-off parade, arts and crafts, marine exhibits, musical
entertainment, demonstrations, contests, and waterfront activities. Enjoy an ocean fresh Maine
lobster at the festival for lunch. Then take time for shopping and exploring in Downtown
Rockland, one of the finest cities at the heart of Midcoast Maine. Then we will discover this
portion of Maine’s coastland with a guided tour of Camden and Rockland. Then we ride the
rails on the Maine Coast from Rockland to Brunswick on the Maine Eastern Railroad, offering
spectacular views from fully restored, streamline, stainless steel railcars. Dinner will be served
aboard the train. (B,D)

DAY 5: After breakfast and hotel check out, we depart for Newport, RI. Here we will tour the
grandest of Newport’s summer “cottages,” the Breakers mansion. Enjoy the views from this
sumptuous estate, perched high on a bluff, overlooking the Atlantic.  Then we will travel along
the west coast of Newport aboard a restored 1904 coach. Lunch aboard the train. Next stop is
the USS Nautilus Memorial & Submarine Museum. Tour the world’s first nuclear powered
submarine. After check in at our CT hotel, try your luck at the Foxwoods Casino, the country’s
largest casino complex. Buffet dinner included at the casino. (B,L,D)

DAY 6: After breakfast, we depart for home with fond memories of Trains across New
England.  (B)
